Trip concept

Draft v0.2

Phase 1 — Vacation

  • Arrive in Manila.
  • Meet Alona there after she has travelled north.
  • Spend roughly two weeks together in different regions.
  • Draft route: Manila → Boracay → Palawan → Cebu.

Phase 2 — Remote work

  • Stay in Cebu for approximately two weeks.
  • Test whether working from the Philippines is realistic.
  • Check internet quality, apartment options, routines, and local environment.
  • Use Cebu as a proof of concept for longer future stays.
The current draft keeps the vacation route compact enough to avoid constant transfers, while still including Manila, a beach destination, a nature destination, and Cebu as the work base.

September 2026 Schedule Draft

Day-by-day working schedule

A first practical draft for a four-week Philippines trip: travel first, then remote work from Cebu.

Sep 1–29 29 days Not final
3 days Manila arrival and setup
6 days Boracay vacation block
6 days Palawan nature block
14 days Cebu remote work test
Draft logic: avoid squeezing in too many places. Angeles City stays optional for now, because Manila, Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu already create enough transfers for a first Philippines route.
